Day 1st of 75th Cannes Film Festival: Deepika Padukone goes for a Sabyasachi over LV

For the first day of the 75th Cannes Film Festival. Deepika Padukone went for a Sabyasachi ditching Louis Vuitton.

While her big red carpet look is still under a wrap, the actress surprised her fans in a shirt with tropical prints that she paired with emerald green pants, a printed scarf on her head, and a statement neck piece, all designed by Sabyasachi.

Deepika Padukone has been a regular feature at Cannes for several years. She had been attending the film festival for years, representing the cosmetics company L’Oreal. She is, however, attending as a jury member this year.

Sharing details on Deepika’s OOTD, her stylist Shaleena Nathani wrote: “Jury member Deepika Padukone at the 75th annual Cannes Film Festival. Wearing clothing from Sabyasachi’s Tropic of Calcutta collection – the global resort series, where Indian heritage gets a contemporary update.”

So far, the actress has only appeared in Louis Vuitton outfits. The actress began her Cannes jury duty with a dinner on the eve of the 75th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, for which she also chose a Louis Vuitton piece.

Deepika Padukone arrived in the French Riviera wearing denim on denim. On the side, an LV bag. The actress documented the moments in an Instagram video, which she signed off with the words “From Cannes, With love.”

Deepika Padukone was most recently seen in Gehraiyaan, directed by Shakun Batra and produced by Karan Johar. The film also featured Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, Dhairya Karwa, Naseerudddin Shah, and Rajat Kapoor.

The actress has a jam-packed schedule ahead of her. She will appear alongside Amitabh Bachchan in the Hindi remake of The Intern. She will also appear alongside Hrithik Roshan in Siddharth Anand’s film Fighter. Pathan is also in the works with SRK, and she will appear in a film with Prabhas.Yep
