Dangal Trailer Review

aaj se dangal

One of the much awaited trailers of the film Dangal starring Aamir Khan is finally out. The film is based on the life of Phogat the wrestler and his two daughters had many speculations about a number of things including having facing comparisons which is expected to hit with a great response. Though the film was compared with Sultan in terms of having wrestling in common, however, the latter seems to be a love story while the former seem to be a struggle in many ways. As we check the trailer, the movie Dangal can be called as an emotional drama, which packs up a punch with themes like women empowerment and gender stereotyping at the crux.

Aamir in the film has been playing the character of Indian wrestler while the life of Mahavir Phoghat played by Aamir Khan is seen getting played in two different phases of his life – one wherein he is in the ring while the other when he becomes the trainer for his two daughters. One of the vital or interesting thing about the trailer is the transformation of his attitude (character) for having a son to treating daughters to be not less the same and thus cultivate the interest and potential to mark in sports and thus fulfill his desire for winning the gold medal for the country.

The movie is based on the life of Phogat sisters – Geeta and Babita the ladies who made the country proud by winning gold medals in the Commonwealth Games. It is interesting to see how Aamir has toiled to build up his physique for both the portions of the movie, while Sakshi Tanwar too is seen in the film playing the character of Aamir’s wife. On the other hand we have Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra playing the Phogat ladies and are seen with decent performances. Also the dialogues we hear in the film really can put a good impact to build the right emotional chords to make it a big hit.

The title track of the song by Daler Mehendi called Dangal Dangal is really catchy one, which finds some space in the trailer adding a good value to it. It is interesting to see how the director of the film Nitesh Tiwari has kept the trailer very much simple keeping the face value of it simple and straight. It is perhaps the non-fictional nature of the story found in the trailer, which will create a good word of mouth for the film catching up more and more audiences.
