The much awaited starrer movie Dangal seems to have got the biggest occupancy rate when it comes to the box office report in the media. The film witnessed a decent occupancy that tolled to around 65 percent in the country, while the opening in the single screens went to an average collection as compared to the multiplexes for the obvious reasons.
The first day for Dangal ended up at a good note with collection going close to the Salman Khan starrer movie Sultan. The film witnessed occupancy of 65 percent in the morning shows which turned even to 100 percent at certain places in the evening shows. As Dangal has witnessed positive reviews it will certainly be going to witness a decent growth in the weekend.
As per reports, the first day box office collection for Dangal tolled to around 29.78 crores, which is simply more than the expected amount for sure. Well, the film has barely any competition not just for this week but for the three straight weeks for sure. The next big release would be OK Jaanu starring Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur that is releasing on 13th January 2017.
In a sense, the film Dangal has managed to mar the challenge of cash crunch in a big way and thus has managed to give a very good collection despite the demonetization effects. The trade pundits and market experts are expecting a decent collection in the forthcoming days turning out to be the biggest grocer of the year. Thanks to the high star value and the huge buzz surrounding the movie that makes all the difference.
