Dabangg 3 1st Day Box Office Collection

Dabangg 3

Dabangg 3 1st Day Box Office Collection

It as a dry day for Salman Khan’s film Dabangg 3. All thanks to the countrywide agitation against the recently passed bill on citizen amendment called the Citizenship Amendment Act passed in both the houses in the recent past. With the nation getting affected with the constant agitation going around the country and the Jamia Protest added the salt to the injury has hampered the occupancy of the film for Salman Khan giving a low box office collection on day one.

The film had a good buzz which was chosen to get a release on the Christmas eve. The morning shows recorded the occupancy of 20 to 25 percent, which was low against the expectations of the makers. The pre-release buzz was huge with the promotions from Salman Khan going smooth, but considering the agitation, the buzz of the film seemed going low affecting the occupancy and eventually the box office collection as well.

The occupancy, however, went up in the evening shows yet the footfall did not seem to be that impressive for the makers. It was recorded with 70 percent in multiplexes and a single screen. So, with all these figures, the 1st-day box office collection for Dabangg 3 went to around 12.5 Crores, which was expected to get around 20 to 25 crores on the first day. The weekend would remain affected for the third part of Salman Khan called Dabangg 3 for the obvious reasons. The weekend collection would be not less than 35 to 40 Crores against the hope of getting 60 yo 70 crores.
