Coronavirus Impacts Laal Singh Chaddha, Jersey & Nikamma as their shoots come to stand still

As we see Coronavirus pandemic spreading high in the world at its high pace, there are several institutions in the country shutting down and so are the workplace that has been decided to stay away from opening theatres and other places and Maharashtra was the first state to do so. Mumbai is therefore affected the most and so is the B Town films which are under the making. As per reports, these include Laal Singh Chaddha the Aamir Khan starrer.
The film’s next shooting schedule was put on hold while after completing the previous shoots on Sunday the makers have brought the shoots on stand still. The film also has Kareena Kapoor in the leading role, while is slated to release in Christmas 2020. The next film comes in the form of Nikamma having Abhimanyu Dassani, Shilpa Shetty and Shirley Setia in the leading roles. The tend day schedule now needs a few scenes to be shot along with the title track of the movie.
The makers had erected a huge set at Madh Island where the makers were planning to shoot the song but with this issue, they have to keep things on hold. Despite the makers are facing a monetary loss, they will resume the shoot when things turn better. The other film to get affected includes Jersey, which is a remake movie having Shahid Kapoor. The makers of the film have suspended the shoots. Aman Gil is the producer and he claims that 70 per cent of the film has been completed.
