This is the first time when we see Varun Dhawan working with Sara Ali Khan and sharing the screen for their upcoming movie Coolie No. 1. The film is a remake of his father’s directed film Coolie No. 1 with Govinda and Karishma Kapoor made in the year 1995. Varun plays Govinda, while Sara Ali Khan plays the role of Karishma in it. The movie has hit the floor and the makers are busy shooting for its first schedule in Bangkok, Thailand.
The film has been making headlines for various reasons and this time for banning the use of plastic over its sets. They have started using steel bottles on their sets and they have even shared the same on the social media, which has made this news a bit hit. This initiative was done by the producers first Jackky Baghnani and his sister Honey and it soon was replicated by the entire cast and crew. It was Honey who came up with this idea and soon was implemented over the sets to make the space environment-friendly.
Even PM Modi was quick to notice this and he tweeted about the same applauding the team for showcasing such a good gesture towards contributing to saving the environment. He congratulated the team on the Microblogging site saying that he is pleased to see that they are banning the plastic use on the sets. The film Coolie No. 1 is all set to hit the screens in May 2020. The makers are busy shooting for the film and would soon return Mumbai to start their second schedule in Mumbai Central Stations. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us.
