Fans, the director, and the actor have all expressed outrage after producers reportedly altered the film’s original ending using artificial intelligence to create a new, “happy” conclusion—vastly different from the original narrative crafted by Rai.The producers, Eros International, have come under fire for this AI-generated modification. Now, Dhanush has also joined the fight, publicly condemned the change and standing alongside the director to protect the integrity of the film. The filmmaker Aanand Rai confirmed the close bond he shares with Dhanush, calling them “brothers from different mothers.” Both are currently exploring legal options to counter what they view as a dangerous precedent that threatens the sanctity of their creative content. “I am very worried about my other films. So is Dhanush. We are actively looking at judicial remedies to restore and preserve our creative content from such extraneous interventions,” Rai stated, emphasizing their joint commitment to safeguarding their artistic vision.
