It’s confirmed Sara Ali Khan to romance Sushant Singh Rajput in her debut film
Saif Ali Khan the Amrita Singh’s first born Sara Ali Khan’s daughter needs no introduction. Of late there is much buzz on her Bollywood debut in the media. While there has been a lot of contention with regard to which movie she will be first seen in, here is a new piece of information on the same.
So, while Sara’s name was associated with Dharma Productions and it was being said that Karan Johar was personally grooming her along with Sridevi’s Jhanvi Kapoor, the grapevine is abuzz with the news that Sara will make her debut not with Dharma but with Abhishek Kapoor (Gattu’s) next! Looks like the Kai Po Che director has locked in Sushant Singh Rajput and is keen on casting Sara with him.
As per a report in DNA, Balaji Productions is producing the film and it is likely that it would be Sara’s most awaited debut. A source close to the production house revealed to the paper, “Sushant was to do Abhishek’s i, but his dates weren’t available. Now, they are coming together with a love story. The film is scheduled to go on floors sometime next year.”
Another insider added, “Gattu wanted a fresh pairing for his film. He decided to cast Saif’s daughter as the female lead in the film. The team has met Sara and she has liked it. She is most likely to sign on within two weeks. Ekta is very close to Sara’s mom Amrita Singh. In fact, Ekta revived her career on the small screen when she wanted to return to acting. Amrita was also seen in Ekta’s production, A Flying Jatt, as Tiger Shroff’s mom. Amrita trusts her to launch her daughter, and has given her blessings to this project
