Synopsis:
After the debacle of Zero, Shah Rukh Khan has taken a break from any film as far as acting is concerned. He was there as a producer for films like Badla with Big B and Taapse Pannu that did well at the box office. He then planned to enter into the digital media and is therefore embarked upon as a web series called Class of 83 apart from the other called Bard of Blood with Big B and Emraan Hashmi. Talking about Class of 83, it is his debut venture in streaming medium, which is directed by Atul Sabharwal, the Aurangzeb fame director in B Town.
The web series has Bobby Deol as a lead role, while it is produced by Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment, which is all set to hit the digital medium soon called Netflix. Talking about the web series, it revolves around the life of a trained cop who is also a teacher and made at the backdrop of 83. He is trained to eliminate the gangsters from the Bombay underworld. However, while doing the same, he faces too many challenges, so how does this man defy them is interesting to catch in the web series.
The makers are yet to disclose about the entire star cast except revealing about Bobby Deol who is doing his debut in the web world with Class of 83. He will be playing the lead role of the upright policeman-turned police instructor. He teaches the students about the complexities he faces while dealing with the dreaded underworld elements.
