CISF officer who stopped Salman Khan at the Mumbai Airport was rewarded & NOT punished

Salman Khan was stopped by a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officer at the Mumbai airport to complete his mandatory security formalities before he enters on August 20. This act of the officer was highly appreciated by the people and his video went viral on social media. Now according to the reports, the officer who was performing his duty landed in trouble.

Recently it was reported that the officer can in trouble after he stopped Salman from entering the airport. However, now according to the latest update, the headquarters has clarified that he has not been penalised but rewarded.

As per the CISF, a tweet posted on their Twitter handle says the officer was ‘suitably rewarded for exemplary professionalism’. CISF wrote, “The contents of this tweet are incorrect & without factual basis. In fact, the officer concerned has been suitably rewarded for exemplary professionalism in the discharge of his duty. @PIBHomeAffairs.”

Salman was arrived at the Mumbai airport on August 20, as he was flying to Russia for the shoot of his upcoming film Tiger 3. he young officer, Somnath Mohanty, who is a native of Nayagarh district in Odisha firmly stopped him at the gate and asked him to join the queue to show his documents. Surprised, Salman followed the instructions of the young officer. This entire episode was captured by the eyes of the netizens since a video on the incidence went viral. People in no time started praising the officer for doing his duty dedicatedly.
