Cirkus Box Office: Rohit Shetty & Ranveer Singh’s yet another collaboration earned — on its first day

Cirkus, starring Ranveer Singh, is out in theatres and ready to thrill you! After Simmba and Sooryavanshi, this is his third collaboration with Rohit Shetty. While the aforementioned flicks were box-office successes, things are not looking good this time.

Rohit Shetty has had 11 consecutive successful films, and now Cirkus is one of the much-anticipated films of his career. It boasts a fantastic ensemble that includes Ranveer Singh, Varun Sharma, Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Shetty’s blockbuster crew. With such names and Christmas holidays in place, expectations have been quite high. Unfortunately, advanced booking trends point to a bleak picture.

According to trade estimates, Cirkus received gross on its first day. This is quite disappointing, and there are no high hopes for walk-ins on Saturday and Sunday also because word-of-mouth is negative. As of now, the picture isn’t going anywhere and is projected to tank starting Monday.

Meanwhile, Rohit Shetty recently confessed that he hasn’t had a vacation in five years when he appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show alongside Ranveer Singh and other cast members.

“My family usually goes on vacations, but I don’t get time due to my tight schedule. But for me, my team is my family. I spend most of my time with them and I have no regrets. And I believe that if someone is not happy returning from a vacation and thinks that he has to go to work while on the flight, then that is a waste,” Shetty shared.
