As ZEE5 is gearing up for its next crime thriller Abhay 2 next month, we have some interesting news. As per the Indian Express, the B Town actor Chunky Panday is all set to make his debut on the digital venture. Kunal Kemmu will essay the same role of Abhay Pratap Singh the Investigative Officer in the show. On the other side, Ram Kapoor is playing the antagonist role in it. Besides, Ram, we have one more negative character in it and you guessed it right, as Chunky will play this role. Â
Chunky Panday is often popular for playing comical roles apart from the negative ones. However, in the second season of Abhay, he will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar. The actor was quick to announce about the same in his latest Instagram post. He posted an introducing video of the role he is playing. Well, have a look at the same as under:
As the makers released the promo of the series, we see Kunal saying his famous dialogue of how a person has his or her three sides. After checking the above video, one can have a perfect glimpse of her role who is seen leading an ordinary life during the day time and turns a wicked killer as the sun sets. He has tried to put his simple yet pot bellied kind of look for the show, which somewhere reminds us of the character of Bob Biswas from the film Kahaani.Â
Talking about his role, the actor said, he was really excited to play this character. Plus, this gives him the debut on the OTT platform. He calls his character a normal looking guy but is known to have his cannibal instinct. As they say, looks can be deceptive. Wait till 12th Aug when the second season finally streams on ZEE5.Â
