Chiyaan Vikram dazzles in Thangalaan BTS video release of his new look from the film on actor’s birthday

Today, April 17, marks the 57th birthday of popular Tamil actor Chiyaan Vikram. To make his birthday even more special, the director of his next highly anticipated film ‘Thangalaan’ has released a new behind-the-scenes video from the set in which the actor can be seen shooting in various situations.
Congratulating Vikram on his birthday, the film’s director Pa. Ranjith took to his official Twitter handle and wrote,”Happy birthday to my #Thangalaan, @chiyaan sir Presenting you a slice of flesh, a grand making visual video of Thangalaan as our humble tribute to Chiyaan. #HBDChiyaanVikram #ThangalaanMaking @chiyaan@kegvraja @StudioGreen2 @officialneelam.” (sic)
Happy birthday to my #Thangalaan, @chiyaan sir ?

The two-minute behind the scene video depicts the actor in an unrecognisable state, making it nearly hard to recognise him at first glance. The video shows him attacking in an adivasi outfit with the assistance of his people. The movie also shows Pa. Ranjith working on other areas of the film’s development, such as set design and shooting at night with minimal lighting. We also observe the artist shooting with the other cast members in the small lake.
Everyone’s attention is drawn to Chiyan’s Vikram’s distinctive outfit and make-up. Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Pasupathy, and Daniel Caltagirone play important parts alongside Chiyaan Vikram in this action- thriller drama.
Thangalaan, set in British-era India, is said to be based on a true story in which people of Tamil descent were enslaved at the Kolar Gold Fields (KGF) in Karnataka. The film is still in production, and no release date has been set by the producers. However, it is expected that, in addition to Tamil, the film will be released in Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam.
Meanwhile, Chiyaan Vikram is currently busy promoting his next period epic film, ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2,’ and is travelling around the country with the team to meet the audience. ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’ producers have also wished Chiyaan Vikram a new poster.
