Chiranjeevi & Ram Charan begins shoot for Koratala Siva’s Acharya

Chiranjeevi is back on the set of Koratala Siva’s Acharya now that filming has restarted in Telangana. The film was supposed to be released in theatres on May 13, but it had to be postponed indefinitely because to the novel coronavirus pandemic. According to sources, only a limited section of the project has been approved for filming.

Chiranjeevi and Kajal Aggarwal star in the film, which is directed by Koratala Siva and also has Ram Charan and Pooja Hegde in cameo roles.

Chiranjeevi returned to the Acharya sets to resume filming. The actors and crew were filming the movie when the second wave of the new coronavirus pandemic halted production. The team has resumed shooting in Hyderabad following the curfew.

According to insiders, there are barely ten days left to shoot key scenes, including a combat sequence starring Ram Charan. Despite the fact that there have been no reports of Ram Charan joining the sets as of yet, it is expected that he will do so once the filming of SS Rajamouli’s RRR is completed.

Koratala Siva directs Acharya, which is billed as an action drama. Ram Charan plays Siddha, a naxalite, alongside Pooja Hegde, who plays Neelambari, his love interest. Though Ram Charan will appear in a cameo part, Chiranjeevi confirmed in an interview that it is a full-fledged role. In crucial roles, Sonu Sood, Jisshu Sengupta, Saurav Lankesh, Sangeetha Krish, and Tanikella Bharani will be seen.

The filmmakers will announce the new release date for the picture once the shoot is completed. The film’s cinematography will be handled by Tirru, and the music will be composed by Mani Sharma.
