Farhan Akhtar, Mrunal Thakur, Paresh Rawal, Supriya Pathak Kapur, Hussain Dalal, Dr. Mohan Agashe, Darshan Kumaar, and Vijay Raaz feature in Toofaan. Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra directed the film, which was co-produced by Excel Entertainment (Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar) and ROMP Pictures (Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra).

Toofaan is a story of an orphan youngster born on the streets of Dongri grows up to be a local goon due to forced circumstances. When he meets Ananya, a brilliant and caring young woman who takes him down the correct path, his life transforms. He discovers his calling in athletics and embarks on a mission to become a world-class boxer with the help of love and coaching. This is a wonderful storey. Even the impoverished and marginalised are not exempt.

Even the impoverished and disadvantaged, who have been pummelling by life, can become national heroes by giving up the other half of life and choosing the right road. The action of Toofaan takes place in the Indian city of Bombay. Bombay functions as the film’s third character. Bombay is a megacity and one of India’s most populous cities. It is a real global metropolis and a melting pot of cultures and religions.

The much-awaited sports drama will exclusively premiere on Amazon Prime Video on July 16.
