The censor board has been in the media before the release on Udta Punjab. The issue was seen taking its toll to next level when things soured between its makers and the censor board. It finally got at ease with the intervention of Bombay High Court, when the judges lambasted the censor board.
Now, when the film Sultan came at the table of Censor Board, it got cleared once for all and interestingly not a single cut was recommended to the makers of the movie. And that’s not all, the censor board applauded the movie claiming that the board members didn’t find any single word or scene which required any cuts.
The board said that Salman stands for the movie, which is always a family entertainer and they called the film to be a family oriented one. However, the board has given the film U/A despite getting the clean chit of the board claimed the sources considering the violent spirit of wrestling. Sultan is releasing this Eid, while the makers and the lead actors are busy promoting the film in the media.
The film was making news earlier for the deletion of Arjit Singh’s song from the film, which soon got a replacement from Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s voice apart from getting one version of Salman Khan for the same. Now, things have settled down and the movie is gearing up for its release.
