Trisha is among the few actresses in South Indian film industry who has shared the screen with almost all the actors in the industry. She has been getting female-centric characters and Raangi is one of such movies. The film has been progressing well as the first schedule is now being wrapped up in the recent time. The makers of the film have now brought up the first look poster of the movie, while Trisha’s in the poster simply appears to be menacing that fits well with the title.
AR Murugadoss who happens to the Engeyum Eppothum fame director has jotted down the story for the film. He has also directed the film Saravanan. The film will be shot in places like Uzbekistan and reports are to be believed the makers would soon going to fly for the same along with the cast and crew. The music for the film is composed by C Sathya, while M Subarak is handling the camera and looking over the edits as well.
The last time we saw Trisha on the silver screen was in the film Petta starring Rajinikanth. The film was also a female-centric movie, which is directed by Sumanth Radhakrishnan who did the debut with this film. The film happened to be an action-adventure thriller and she had teamed up with Simran in the film. The film will have some deep-sea stunt sequences for the first time. Apart from these two movies, the lady was seen in other movies in Tamil including 1818 and Paramapadham Vilayattu. The former is directed by Rithun Sagar, and is inspired by 2008 Mumbai attacks.
