The new poster from Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Half Girlfriend is out. In the poster, Arjun is seen holding Shraddha in his arms while standing on the backside of a bus against the backdrop of a village in India. Both are seen giving each other an intense look, making this poster a romantic one. Arjun shared this poster on his Instagram page. He captioned the picture saying, “Holding on to each other, through thick and thin, here’s presenting the next poster for #HalfGirlfriend #19May“
Interesting much? This is the first outing of Arjun with both Shraddha and director Mohit Suri, whereas Shraddha has worked with Mohit before in his directorial – Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain. Half Girlfriend is the movie adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s novel of the same name. The trailer of the film is set to be out tomorrow. Whereas the film is slated to release on May 19, 2017.
The movie has been extensively shot in Delhi, Bihar and the US. The tagline of the movie says, “DOST se zyada, GIRLFRIEND se kam” In the film, Arjun will be seen playing the role of a Bihari boy named Madhav Jha, whereas Shraddha will be seen as a Delhi girl named Riya Somani. Recently, the makers released an interesting video from the movie where Arjun is seen reading excerpts from the Hindi version of the novel.
