The national award winning filmmaker is back with his movie called Aligarh. In this movie, Manoj Bajpayee is playing the character of a gay professor, the character which is he trying the first time in his career. The same film has Rajkummar Rao playing the character of a journalist. He is an old professor clinging to a couple of his belongings. He is seen in grey hair, unkempt beard, seated on a chair in a brown suit seems to be in a deep thought. Hansal Mehta wanted to give the first look of his film extremely heavy. And considering the first look of this gay professor, he seems to be successful in bringing out the best character. This movie is based on the real life incident of a gay professor who was suspended from his job for the fierce desire issue. The movie is directed by Hansal Mehta and produced by Sunil Lulla and Hansal himself. The movie is expected to hit the theatres this year end.
