Indian Idol 13: Shehnaaz Gill gets emotional recalls she ran away from home to fulfill her dreams
Shehnaaz Gill has become everyone’s favorite and is on a success rampage since she competed on Bigg Boss 13. With her brand-new song, Ghani Sayani, the singer-actress is now capturing the hearts of the public. Shehnaaz Gill recently made an appearance on the 13th season of the singing competition show Indian Idol during a segment honoring senior persons.
When one of the contestants, Debosmita Roy, ask Shehnaaz about her family’s unwavering support for her singing profession, the scene turned emotional. The former Big Boss contestant advised Debosmita to appreciate how fortunate she is to have parents who are so supportive.
She continued by sharing her personal story of how she struggled to establish herself as a leader in the field. Shehnaaz claimed that to pursue her aspirations, she had to flee her home. She added that there are not many people in our nation that are in favor of working women.
Later, Shehnaaz’s parents joined her as she ascended the success ladder. She recalls traveling to Dubai with her mother Parminder Kaur Gill for the first time. The actress claimed that doing something wonderful for one’s parents seemed like a dream. Shehnaaz donned a shimmering rose gold Punjabi suit with a sharara, and she looked stunning in the desi style.

Shehnaaz Gill just launched her celebrity chat show, Desi Vibes With Shehnaaz Gill, on the professional front. She will shortly make her Bollywood debut in Salman Khan’s forthcoming movie Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The movie, which also starred Venkatesh Daggubati, Palak Tiwari, and Pooja Hegde, was directed by Farhad Samji. The movie is slated to be released the following year.
