Catch The Accidental Prime Minister trailer: Anupam Kher nailed it with his ambitious project

Ever since the film -The Accidental Prime Minister was announced, it remained in the news headlines for many reasons. The film is a biopic based on the former Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh of India. He is known for his modesty apart from being the competent economist and finance experts in the world. He served the country from 2004 to 2014 and known as a competent man for his honesty. However, the way he was chosen as a Prime Minister has always remained the talk of the town. Anupam Kher is playing the lead role and as the trailer released, his resemblance to Dr. Singh has been applauded in the media.

The people seemed to talk about the mannerism he has adopted the former politician. The film also has Akshaye Khanna playing the character called Sanjaya Baru who plays the media advisor of the former minister. Also, Akshaya Khanna has the role of narrator in the movie, and one would find him breaking the fourth wall while he talks to the viewers. The movie talks about the internal politics inside the Congress Party and the way they have seen Mr. Singh the deserving candidate for the PM out of a sudden. Suzanne Bernert plays Sonia Gandhi, while Aahana Kumara is playing the character of Priyanka Gandhi in it. Arjun Mathur is playing the character of Rahul Gandhi in the film.

Vijay Ratnakar Gutte has directed the biopic. Interestingly, the film is released just before the 2019 General Elections in the country. Hence Anupam Kher after releasing the trailer has posed the question whether the BJP will try to take an advantage in the coming elections. He replied saying that patriotic movies are always released on 26th Jan or 15th December and it has nothing to do with the politics. He said that for him the country is first and that he has supported it and it makes no difference if there is any party supporting the ideology. He then applauded the former PM and called him an international personality. The film is releasing on 11th Jan 2019. Time now to check the trailer and let us know how did you find it.
