‘Musical School’ Trailer: Shriya Saran and Sharman Joshi are music teachers of this pan-Indian musical project
Shriya Saran and Sharman Joshi have unveiled the first trailer of their upcoming multi-lingual pan Indian musical drama film ‘Musical School’. The makers shared the film’s trailer which introduces Shriya Saran and Sharman Joshi as music and dance teachers respectively.
The two minutes long trailer opens with Shriya and Sharman playing the roles of two music and drama teachers Mary and Manoj. These two teachers came up with the unique idea of attempting to put together a musical play ‘The Sound of Music’ with young students.
These students go through immense academic pressure put on by their parents and teachers and they don’t want these students to spend time on extra- curricular activities and only focus on study. Shriya who plays the role of Miss Mary and Sharman’s character come up with an unique idea of creating a musical with their students called ‘Sound Of Music’.
They initially don’t get much support from the parents of the students as these parents want their kids to focus on their exams only. But they somehow take their students to Goa and help the students in doing the rehearsal for the play.

Other cast of Musical School’ comprises Benjamin Gilani, Suhasini Mulay, Mona Ambegaonkar, Leela Samson, Bugs Bhargava, Vinay Varma, Sreekanth Iyengar, Vaquar Sheikh, Phani and many other child actors. The film’s story screenplay and direction is done by Paparao Biyyala and Kiran Deohans has handled the camera. The film’s music has been composed by one of most popular and prominent Indian music composer Ilaiyaraaja.
Presented by Yamini Films, Hyderabad, this multi-lingual film is shot in Hindi and Telugu, and dubbed in Tamil. It is slated to release on May 12, 2023, by PVR in Hindi – Tamil and Dil Raju in Telugu.
