Indira Gandhi Biopic: Kangana Ranaut to Direct the Film besides being the leading lady
We now see the B Town actress gearing up for her next venture as her films are on hold for the release due to the lockdown situation. Now as the actress is gearing up for her next venture, we hear that the lady has announced recently that would be taking care of the directing part of the biopic movie on Indira Gandhi. The film is titled as Emergency which is based on the life of PM India Gandhi.Â
It is very much reported that the director Said Kabir who seemed to have worked with Kangi in the film Revolver Rani and now she would be helming the venture. However, as per reports, she is all set to direct the movie in the biopic where she is seen believing that no one is there to deal with the venture better than her. While talking about the same, she said she is very much pleased to wear the hat again as she gears up to work in the said movie. While expressing her views on Koo app she said she is very much determined to do that again along with carrying out the acting part.
We know earlier the actress directed the film Manikarnika as well the historical one as well wherein she also played the leading role. The film was released in 2019. The movie did well and she even bagged the national award. Besides the film Emergency she is involved in a couple of films. She is doing movies like Dhaakad, Thalavi and Tejas to name a few.
