It was a solo release for the Sunny Singh starrer film Ujda Chaman this passing Friday. However, the collection was not that impressive at the box office. The film had to face tough competition from the multi-starrer movie – Housefull 4 and even from the Hollywood movie called Terminator: Dark Fate at the box office. The film released on 1st November could get a meager collection after the first weekend at the box office.
As per reports, the first-day box office collection for the film was around 2.75 Crores followed by 3.25 Crores and the third day it went a bit on the higher side getting 4.5 Crores at the box office. Hence the 1st-weekend box office collection for Ujda Chaman was not less than 10.5 Crores, which seems to be a decent amount at the box office. On the other side, the reincarnation comedy at the box office earned around 28 Crores this weekend thus keeping the other films at bay.
The film Ujda Chaman happens to be a Hindi remake of a Kannada movie called Ondu Motteya Kathe. It had the Sonu Ke Titu ki Sweety famed actor Sunny Sunny in the lead role. The film deals with the premature hair loss and is directed by Abhishek Pathak. It also has Maanvi Gagroo, Karishma Sharma, Aishwarya Sakhuja, Atul Kumar, Saurabh Shukla and Sharib Hashmi in the lead roles. The film made news for having a similar theme of Bala starring Ayushmann Khurrana, which is all set to hit the screens this coming week. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us.
