Amidst a decent buzz of the film in the media, finally, we get to see the movie Karwaan releasing in the media. Well, the film remained most awaited one, which deals with the slice of life that simply marks the debut of a couple of actors including the South Indian actor Dulquer Salmaan and the web sensation Mithila Palkar in the lead actor. With the good star cast and decent content that remained in the right place, the film is expected to have a decent opening at the box office. However, at the same time, it faces a tough competition with two more movies releasing the same day- Fanney Khan and Mulk making the day a busy one.
The B Town has dearth for such films that are made on road trips rather than a few made earlier. This can be seen more in Hollywood a lot thus making things right. Well, now as we see the film’s performance, it started with a dull occupancy report reaching to 15 per cent, while the same was the story in the evening shows. As per reports, the 1st day box office collection reached to around 1.5 crore, which was due to the fact that the other films were seen releasing the same day. The films Fanney Khan and Mulk too were seen falling in the same bracket. Now, looking at the box office collection for the weekend, it is certainly going to remain better than the two as it has better content than the rest of the two.
Yet, it would be a tough fight for the makers since each film has its own pros and cons to suffer. Well, if the film is able to garner a good word of mouth buzz in the media, it would be able to do better at the box office during its first weekend. Well, looking at the current picture, even if we inflate things, the film is likely to draw less collection in the first weekend and it would not got beyond 10 crore as the other films are there.
