Catch Ittefaq new posters featuring a bruised Sidharth Malhotra & furious Sonakshi Sinha
Of late, we have been hearing about the underrated Yash Chopra cult classic of the seventies called Ittefaq to be getting a remake treatment. It was rumored earlier that Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan will unite to give the remake of the thriller that will go songless, which originally had come with Rajesh Khanna and Nandha. The remake film will now have the A Gentleman actor Sidharth Malhotra along with the bubbly girl Sonakshi Sinha in the lead role, while Akshaye Khanna has a negative role to play like a key role. The film is directed by Abhay Chopra.
Now, we have seen the makers releasing the posters of Both Sonakshi Sinha and Sidharth Malhotra coming along with their first posters. The makers have kept the title as same instead of the earlier planned one called It Happened One Night. The first poster of the film was of Sidharth Malhotra that came along with the Dharma tweeting, “Accused & innocent? #IttefaqNov3 @S1dharthM @sonakshisinha #AkshayeKhanna @iamsrk @karanjohar @gaurikhan @abhayrchopra @apoorvamehta18”. And soon we saw the actor Sidharth Malhotra tweeting that he is accused of a crime in the film for he did not commit! He then asked the audience to wait for his story.
Then you saw the Noor actress Sonakshi Sinha coming with her poster in her grim look to which Dharma Productions was seen tweeting giving a caption, “The second suspect. #IttefaqNov3 @S1dharthM @sonakshisinha #AkshayeKhanna @iamsrk @karanjohar @gaurikhan @abhayrchopra @apoorvamehta18”. Sonakshi unlike Sid was also seen speaking about her own version saying that she is a victim who got accused for being a criminal! And then said Dont you want to hear my story?!? #IttefaqNov3 @S1dharthM #AkshayeKhanna”. In her poster, you can find a glass as well like an evidence.
