It was in the year 2003 when we first saw the film Hungama from the ace filmmaker Priyadarshan relating the comedy film. It remained the all-time hit film at that time, hence when the sequel was announced, it turned out to be the most awaited movie for the audience. The filmmaker is back with the sequel called Hungama 2, which was produced by Ratan Jain of Venus and he is all set to revive the cult comedy with double laughter delight and a double dose of the entertainment!
The film has an interesting star cast, and apart from Paresh Rawal, we have some fresh addition in the film, which can be seen on the poster. These include Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Meezaan Jaffery and the popular south Indian actress Pranitha Subhash to be seen in pivotal roles. Paresh has worked with Priyadarshan after seven long years. Some of the films include Hera Pheri, Malamaal Weekly and Bhagam Bhaag to name a few.
The director Priyadarshan is also popular for making comedy genre movies which include Garam Masala, Hulchul, and De Dhana Dhan. The film Hungama has completed 17 years in the B Town and it is interesting to see the makers embarking with the sequel. So, with quirky and fresh star cast, the film is all set to hit the screen on I Day eve clashing with Akshay Kumar and John Ahrabam movies.
