Amidst all the buzz, the makers of the film Gemini Man is back in the news for releasing the official trailer. We see Will Smith once again fighting Will Smith. It is a kind of spoiler though, hence it becomes unavoidable. You can find the trailer with two versions one that was released in the US and the other was for the other audience, the international audience, hence one can feel some amount of differences and dialogue and footage.
The latter seems to have come along with a joke about Nelson Mandela and the reason why they have cloned the hitman played by Will Smith and not the other man played by the South African leader. The film Gemini Man happens to have a story of an aging assassin called Henry Brogen played by Will Smith who gets into the situation of being chased by a younger clone called Junior again played by Smith through the CGI who can easily predict all the moves of the man. This brings the Ang Lee back in the big VFX filmmaking after you have seen the film Life of Pi in 2012.
The trailer for the US opens up with a small trailer where one can find the Junior proclaiming he is simply the best just to be reminded by Brogen who seems to be pointing a gun at him, which is certainly not the best. The voice-over of Henry is seen leading the trailer, which remains reminiscent of what one has heard in the said trailer, which seems to have laid over the footage that one has previously seen as well. Rian Johnson is the director of the film, while it is produced under the banners – Skydance Media, Jerry Bruckheimer Films, and Fosun Pictures. The writers include David Benioff, Billy Ray, and Darren Lemke. Now, catch the trailer below:
