The May cover of Stardust magazine is out and none other than Deepika Padukone has graced the cover. The gorgeous actress is seen wearing a striped black and white dress with a cowl neck back. The title of the magazine reads, ‘The Queen of Bollywood’ with the story title that says, “I am not charmed by Hollywood, I am charmed by the creativity.”
After sizzling in her Hollywood debut film xXx: Return of Xander Cage that released on January 20, 2017, Deepika Padukone is currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati. The movie also stars Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in the lead and is slated to release on November 17, 2017.
Padukone is also gearing up for the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. Deepika would be making her red carpet debut at Cannes this year as she will be visiting there on May 17 and May 18. When Deepika was asked about the same, she said, “I cannot believe this is happening. It is every girl’s dream. I think I am looking forward to all of it. I have been to Cannes before. There’s something about the place. There is a lot of positivity there.
She added, “We have started planning. There is too much focus on clothes. It should be fun. As a woman, we enjoy being ready and all of that. Clothes are exciting but there is more to it. It is something that my team is working on. She has represented the brand and India so beautifully over the years. I admire her.
