The New Year 2017 could not have begun on a better note for Dhanush as the King of Bollywood- Shah Rukh Khan the first look poster of a biopic film based on Paralympic champion called Mariyappan Thangavelu. As you check the poster, it showcases the 21 year old holding the Gold medal, which he has won the same in 2016 Paralympic games in Rio, for the long jump under T-42 category.
The King Khan called Mariyappan our very own national hero, which has the tagline– The world may think you can’t, what you think is what matters. And yes the film is the next venture of Aishwarya Rajinikanth Dhanush. The film will be releasing in both English and Tamil. The music is composed by Sean Roldan, while the cinematography is carried out by Velraj. And talking about the dialogues, they will be jotted down by Raju Murugan, which makes everyone super excited about this film.
The film is based on the life of Mariyappan who has been raised by the single mother along with five siblings ever since their father abandoned him. At the age of 5, he met an accident by a bus that went on feet making his right leg disable. But that didn’t stop him as he became a volley ball player and also participated in high jump competitions despite this incident. Considering the potential in his, he was promoted at the national Paralympic championship and rest is history.
The story of the movie will be about this phenomenal character from Salem district in Tamil Nadu who overcame his challenges and made the nation proud.
