With a busy Friday, we saw one of the films releasing this day was Bypass Road starring Neil Nitin Mukesh, Gul Panang, and others on the screens. Unfortunately, the thriller was unable to bring out much buzz in the media. All thanks to the low ratings by most of the critics and the meager promotion in the media that turned things, not in the favor of the makers. Neil Nitin Mukesh who remained everywhere in the film was not able to attract the audience, which he was eyeing for the film.
As per reports, the occupancy report started with 10 to 15 per cent that escalated to some extent in the evening turning to 20 to 30 per cent could only ended up gaining a low figure. As per reports, the 1st day box office collection for Bypass Road was not less than 1.5 Crores at the box office and it would remain the same in the coming times. The experts feel that the film would fail to garner much word of mouth buzz in the media that can further delay the collection in a big way.
Also, the film faced tough competition in the screens with Bala and other previously films released like Housefull 4 made things bad to worse. Thus the makers have little to gain as the experts feel that Bypass Road would not even score 6 to 7 crores at the box office during its first weekend.
