BTS’ RM was once doubtful if joining a boy band would be the right choice. Here’s what he said!

BTS’ RM has touched huge heights, becoming a leading k-pop band, and we can’t deny this. Even after their split, the members are concentrating well on their individual activities. Their separate activities haven’t stopped their popularity from soaring high. The Army is always curious about their favourite band, so how can they not be so popular?

BTS’ RM Talked About Indigo

Well, it would be rare that someone among you may not know about the highly-anticipated album of BTS’ RM, Indigo, that was released on December 2. The album touted as his last archive of the 20s is high on emotions, and the army all across the world has relished it.

The K-pop band member talked about his album in the latest conversation with Hypebeast. He also discussed whether joining a boy band and being identified as a hip-hop rapper affects him or not.

THIS is what BTS’ RM was concerned about

If you are someone who follows BTS, then you may know that RM began his career as an underground rapper as well as a hip-hop artist. However, he has now become an international pop star.

While talking about this, he revealed, “As I started my journey with BTS, I floated far and far from that world, and the thought that my admirers and peeps who had similar tastes in music had stopped loving me tortured me to hell.” Did I ever question whether joining a boy band was an appropriate choice? During those times, BTS was excluded from the Korean hip-hop community, which triggered my fear.

Not to worry, as the leader of the band was quick to comprehend that music is, after all, music.

He concluded by saying, “I chose not to think about the unexplored route and started thinking about the certainty of my evolution, embracing the best version of me.”
