This year has been exciting for Akshay Kumar as he has three movies in 2015. With Brothers, he has down his hat trick in B Town in the very same year. Though his first film of 2015 Baby remained an off beat and song less movie, yet it managed to finish close to 100 crore, similar was the story with the other film Gabbar Is Back, which was hampered with the sequel of Kangana – Tanu Weds Manu Returns releasing the same month. He has been good in giving action drama films this year and Brothers again will not be an exception.
As per the current buzz, the film is witnessing a good response over the media and other place. The film though is a remake of a Hollywood movie, yet has loads of drama and action in it, which has created a positive vibe in the media. Hence one can expect a decent opening for the film. Thus you can expect the first day box office collection of Brothers to be around 7-8 crores, while the first weekend collection could toll to around 30 crores. The reasons are obvious, the 15th August holiday and only solo rich action masala based film, which can easily attract the audience towards it. However, the other film Gour Hari Dastaan – The Freedom File is expected to be low in terms of collection for obvious reasons.
