Sudev Nair is an Indian film actor who is active mostly in South Indian films. He was born on 14th April 1985 in Mumbai. Besides an actor, he is also a model and filmmaker. He did his schooling from Sulochanadevi Singhania High School and later went to V.G Vaze College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, Mulund to complete his junior college. He did his Bachelor of Engineering from VNIT Nagpur in 2007 and later joined FTII Pune to complete his PG Course in Acting and Filmmaking. He was also active in sports and participated in 16 National Games in Boxing and Judo. He bagged bronze in High Jump in the said tournament.
He was well placed in an IT company during the routine campus placements in VNIT but he chose to pursue his passion for acting. He remained active during the festivals and made a short ad for Mountain Dw during his FTII days that was later shortlisted for the MOFILM Barcelona Ad Film Fest in 2010. His career in acting started with the B Town movie called Gulaab Gang released in 2014 playing Arjun Shankar since then it was no looking back for the actor. He then got Malayalam films including My Life Partner,
Anarkali, Karinkunnam 6’S, Campus Diary and Ezra to name a few. Some of his recent movies include Athiran, Mikhael, Kayamkulam Kochunni, Abrahaminte Santhathikal and Angarajyathe Jimmanmar. He was also seen in Bollywood film – India’s Most Wanted with Arjun Kapoor in May 2019. Talking about awards, he bagged the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor for the Malayalam film called My Life Partner. He is scuba diving certified as he did one film that had extensive shooting in Lakshadweep Islands. He also appeared in a web series called Not Fit, which was directed by himself. Talking about his personal life, he is very much single and not dating anyone.
