This week sees the long-awaited theatrical debut of the “Brahmastra” film, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The Ayan Mukerji-directed film is now releasing after a protracted delay brought on by the pandemic. Due to its advanced effects and amazing graphics, the degree of enthusiasm among the public is tremendous. Even at the box office, it appears that the movie is going to shatter every record.
Boxofficeindia.com reports that in just two and a half days at a theater chain, “Brahmastra” has surpassed the advance booking of “RRR” (Hindi) and “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.” Due to the few screens that are available for pre booking, it has not yet caught up in other locations. Here is a comparison of the three movies from a theater chain:
RRR (Hindi) – 2.19 crore (79k tickets) Thursday Night (Final Advance)
Bhool Bhuliyaa 2 – 2.15 crore (90k tickets) – Thursday Night (Final advance)
Brahmastra – 2.30 crore (80k tickets) – Sunday Night (4 days left)
On Sunday night, the movie had a little over Rs 5 crore in advance bookings. Given that there are still four days until the movie’s premiere, it will be interesting to see where it finishes.
Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna all have significant parts in “Brahmastra.” Shah Rukh Khan will make a surprise appearance as well. Recently, his movie video was leaked, and his followers are ecstatic about it.
