Box Office: Laal Singh Chaddha Vs Raksha Bandhan avance booking day 1

After a slow period at the box office, Bollywood is anticipating the epic showdown between Laal Singh Chaddha, starring Aamir Khan, and Raksha Bandhan, starring Akshay Kumar. The movie has the potential to have a successful run if it appeals to the audience. However, let’s see who is in the lead in the first round of day 1 advance reservations.

The release dates for both blockbusters are set for August 11. Both Aamir and Akshay have devoted fans. Aamir’s movies mostly draw people to multiplexes, whereas Akshay has always had a stronghold on single screens. Aamir’s LSC is currently ahead of Akshay’s RB due to the fact that advance booking has primarily begun in multiplexes.

Both movies have begun taking bookings in advance as of yesterday. Laal Singh Chaddha reportedly accumulated 6.2 lakhs (excluding blocked seats) or 74 lakhs (including blocked seats) as of last night. Raksha Bandhan, on the other hand, has racked up 67 lakhs (including blocked tickets), or 3.6 lakhs (excluding blocked seats). For those who are unaware, blocked seats can show up as a result of transactions that are unfinished, unsuccessful, cancelled, or even still in the booking process.

We can see that Laal Singh Chaddha is somewhat ahead of Raksha Bandhan, and this is likely to continue given that Aamir Khan’s movie’s tickets are apparently a bit pricey.

It will be fascinating to know the final screen count for both of the biggies in addition to the advance booking.
