Singham Returns bangs the box office with incredible collection reaching out to around 74.08 Crore in just three days. Being the solo release having no competition from any other movie and with the luck of having three days holidays in the row made the difference in the Box Office collection for the sequel. As per reports, the collection figure for the last three days went to around 30.42 Crore (Friday), 21.05 Crore (Saturday) and 24.11 Crore for Sunday. All these figures reached out making a big total after the completion of three days of 74.08.
With such an incredible figure, the movie simply turned out to be the highest grosser of the year in the first weekend after the blockbuster Salman Khan movie- Kick. In the tally of big blockbusters like Dhoom 3, Chennai Express and Kick, it ranks the fourth in terms of collection. Being directed by the action man called Rohit Shetty and his favorite man Ajay Devgn, the movie seems to be rocking the box office. It will not be a surprise to see the movie entering the 100 crore club soon perhaps at the end of day five.
For the Rohit and Ajay duo, this sequel has proved out to be among the top grosser for their production getting an incredible 74 plus crore amounts. The movie is produced at the cost of around 115 crore including the ad and promotion cost. Since Monday is also holiday you never know that by end of day four it may even enter into the 100 club. At the same time the overseas collection too have touched the hearts of the filmmaker with USA and Canada tolling to 1.02 crore, UK reaching the figure of 42 lakh, UAE, 1.24 crore and Australia reaching the figure of 22 lakh. The total figure therefore becomes to around 77 crore plus (Domestic and Overseas collection).
