The Anurag Kashyap upcoming movie Bombay Velvet has been in discussion since quite some time. The posters of Bombay Velvet has simply shown the lead stars Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in action, sometimes in love, at times even in hate. Unlike the series of posters being released in the last movie of Aamir and Anushka starrer film PK wherein we saw motion posters, the filmmakers of Bombay Velvet too has walked over the same path.
The motion poster has seen Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma locked in a tango of love along with the struggle for power, which follows in the wake of trailer and the two songs from the movie. In the second song, the appearance inside the poster with Anushka’s character Rosie Noronha seems singing a song called Mohabbat Buri Bimari, which is then punctured with machine gun fire. As the intensity of the firing is seen escalating, the lead characters are then found amidst the bullet hole heart shaped background.
Here you get to see Ranbir in a deadly and suave avatar, while Anuskha under uber glamorous and lethal. However, on the other side you have Kaizad Khambatta, which is played by the filmmaker Karan Johar seems to be complicating the matter, which Johnny fails to know about the love of his life, which is none other than the jazz singer Rosie. The movie is based on the stories of Gyan Prakash, which was published under the title Mumbai Fables, scheduled to hit the theatres on 15th of May.
