Change is evident and the most permanent thing in this world. Bollywood itself is undergoing similar stage of transformation. Taking stride towards creating some of the finest crime stories, the Bollywood film directors are busy working on a list of such projects. Moving towards the crime inspired scenes and putting them onscreen infusing true life in it is the ultimate goal of all such transformation taking place in the industry.

In fact, apart from the films, several web series are coming alive on screens filling the similar stories flashing all around.

The most talked web series, “Delhi Crime” is the next added feather in this crown. The Indo-Canadian filmmaker, Richie Mehta’s has very precisely created this current project  of his with a lot of expectation of not just portraying the truth but, also making the common man aware of the crimes and security threats that can come to anyone anytime. “Delhi Crime” is currently the most recent release amongst the web series category and has no wonder created a lot of strong waves in the country. The story of this seven-part web series is based on the horrific incident of 2012 Nirbhaya gang rape case followed by its investigation. The prime show cast of Delhi Crime is led by Shefali Shah along with other stars like Adil Hussain, Denzil Smith, Rasika Dugal, Rajesh Tailang and Yashaswini Dayama.

Going beyond the traditional romantic tales of a boy meeting a girl and falling in love, singing songs while running around trees is almost gone. Taking an extra step towards focusing on the crime scenes, filmmakers seem to have researched a lot for this series, “Delhi Crime”.

After the pretty successful show of Sacred Games, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Saif Ali Khan, the next series of “Sacred Games 2”, directed by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane is set to release soon. This thriller series is once again based on the gangs in Mumbai as per the Vikram Chandra’s 2006 novel named the same name. It includes the prime characters Sartaj, a seasoned and cynical Mumbai police officer, and a fugitive don who keeps warning the officer about a quest to save Mumbai.
