Sidhu Moose Wala’s killers celebrate in the car by flaunting guns on a Punjabi song

The horrible murder of renowned Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala in broad daylight on May 29th sent shivers down our spines. The singer-songwriter was shot in his automobile in Punjab’s Mansa region, and an inquiry has been ongoing ever since. The video showing the claimed assassins of Moose Wala celebrating in a car is the most recent information regarding the case.

For those who don’t know, Ankit Sirsa, a young man of 18, was recently detained in Delhi. He allegedly took part as the vocalist in “So High’s” murder. Following his detention, the police allegedly discovered a video on his phone that had all of the supposed assassins of Moose Wala. With a Punjabi melody playing in the background, the video depicts five individuals celebrating their murder and showing off their weapons.

If allegations are to be believed, Ankit Sirsa, the claimed primary shooter of Sidhu Moose Wala, published the same video on Instagram through a now-deleted account. He is reportedly the youngest of the gunmen and a member of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s crew. He allegedly shot the Punjabi singer six times.

The death of Sidhu Moose Wala is reportedly the outcome of gang warfare and Punjab’s growing gangster culture. The tragedy happened on May 29th, one day after the Punjab Police Department took 424 people—including Moose Wala—out of its protection. As was to be feared, the sad event has intensified the political climate in the state.
