Bollywood Celebs Come out to Vote

Elections are considered to be the biggest festival on this planet in democracy. People come out and vote and responsible citizens also encourage others to vote as well. As the single-phase elections ended yesterday in Maharashtra and Haryana, we see many of the Bollywood celebrities based in Bombay came out and voted. Some of these who came out in public and voted include Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao, Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan.

The others who came out to vote and these include Varun Dhawan, Raza Murad, the actress turned politician – Urmila Matondkar, and Vivek Oberoi. While talking to the media, Murad said, he has clicked on the button of NOTA as he says he has been favor of this considering the current political scenario. He then asked people to come out and vote. He further said that elections are important and have to be taken seriously. He further said that people have time for everything including going out to dance in a disco, have drinks in pubs and so but not for a vote.

Urmila while sharing her photo with her inked finger said tweeted that voting is not just our right but also our duty and has to be accomplished. Similarly, Vivek Oberoi and his father also flaunted his index finger saying that he and his family voted, have you all gone and voted. The others include Hrithik Roshan, Hema Malini, and others who also voted. In Mumbai, there were around 9894 polling stations were built to vote for 36 candidates in the city.
