Ranveer Singh is back with a bang, unveils Jayeshbhai Jordaar’s release date

Ranveer Singh is back with another most anticipated film Jayeshbhai Jordaar. The actor who amused the audience with his performance in Kabir Khan’s 83′ will be returning to the big screen with his much-talked film very soon.

Ranveer Singh took to social media to announce the film’s release date, and he did so in a fun video. The film, directed by Divyang Thakkar, will be released in theatres on May 13.

The actor shared the video on social media and wrote, “Naam hai JAYESHBHAI…Aur kaam hai JORDAAR !!! Chegg out the date announcement video. Celebrate #JayeshbhaiJordaar with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you on 13th May.”

For the unversed, Shalini Pandey is making her Bollywood debut with Jayeshbhai Jordaar.

Ranveer will be seen playing a Gujarati businessman in the film. Story-based in Gujrat, the film is a humorous entertainer which is directed by debutant writer-director Divyang Thakkar.

Boman Irani will be seen playing the role of Ranveer’s father in the film. Talking about the film, Irani said that the script is “rare” and that it’s a ‘moving story.’ “Jayeshbhai Jordaar is a rare script that tells a brilliant, moving story. For me, Divyang is a writer and director to watch out for and talent like him comes once in many, many years. He has written something exceptionally thought provoking that delivers a powerful message in the most entertaining and humorous manner,” Boman said.

According to reports, the film addresses the issue of equal rights for men and women in society. Maneesh Sharma, who directed Ranveer in his debut film Band Baja Baraat, is producing ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar.’

Meanwhile, the actor also has Cirkus, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, and the Anniyan remake in the pipeline.
