Lopamudra Raut is an actress and model who hails from Nagpur. She was born in Nagpur on 7 October 1991 and brought up at this place. She did her schooling at JN Tata Parsi School, Nagpur, and later completed her graduation in Electrical Engineering from G. H. Raisoni College of Engineering getting a degree from Nagpur University in 2014. During her college days, she remained active in modeling and participated in Femina Miss India Goa in 2013. She bagged the 1st Runner Up in the contest.

This gave her a direct entry in Femina Miss India 2013, where she emerged as a finalist. She then went on to contest Femina Miss India 2014 where she emerged as a finalist. The very same year she participated in Miss Diva in 2014 and thus emerged among the top 7 as a finalist. In the year 2016, she was chosen by Femina to compete in the Miss United Continents pageant. In the same contest, she emerged as the second runner-up at Miss United Continents in the same year that took place in September 2016, in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

Talking about her acting career, she got the chance to be part of Bigg Boss 10 on Colors TV where she emerged as the second runner-up. The next year she participated in yet another reality show called Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 in 2017 where she emerged as a semi-finalist. Talking about her debut in B Town, she opened her innings in a psychological thriller called Blood Story. She was also seen in a music video called Crazy Ya of Jazzy B and Lil Golu. She will be soon in the web series Baytakhol, which will be seen soon.
