As a child, she wanted to become a badminton player, later she left it for the fashion industry and never looked back. Her career as a fashion model began in 2004. Deepika Padukone’s film career began in the year 2006 with the film Aishwarya, a Kannada film directed by Indrajit Lankesh. The film was among the top 5 hit films of the year.
