If sources are to be believed, the film PM Narendra Modi has topped the list of most talked films that have been or will be releasing this year. Standing strong despite of the hustles and bustles revolving around the film, the film has finally got a new and final release date.
Earlier the film was banned on its release just one day prior to its worldwide release. However, the makers did suffer huge losses due to this last moment stay that came out from nowhere. It was all as a result of an appeal submitted by the opposition parties to put a hold on the movie before elections. After which Election Commission came out with a mandate to put a ban on its release.
As per EC’s notice, the film, PM Narendra Modi and its promotion cannot be done until the last day of the Lok Sabha Elections i.e. May 19. Keeping this EC’s mandate in mind, the makers have finally decided to release the film on May 24 that seems to be quite a safe date after the Lok Sabha Election 2019 results getting declared.
Sharing his views on the same matter, the producer of the film, PM Narendra Modi, Sandip Singh mentioned his opinion on one of platforms, “As a responsible citizen we respect the law of the country. After a lot of discussions and keeping the curiosity and excitement about the film in mind, we have decided to release the film immediately after the Lok Sabha Election results. We are now releasing our film on 24 May 2019. This is the first time a film will be promoted for only four days. I hope now nobody has any problem with the film and we are hoping for the smooth release this time.”
The film cast holds Vivek Anand Oberoi in and as PM Narendra Modi, actors Boman Irani, Manoj Joshi, Prashant Narayanan, Zarina Wahab, Barkha Sengupta, Anjan Shrivastav, Yatin Karyekar, Ramakant Dayma, Akshat R Saluja, Jimesh Patel and Darshan Kumaar in the prime roles. The biopic film is directed by the biopic maestro, Omung Kumar and produced in combination by Sandip Singh, Suresh Oberoi and Anand Pandit.
