Bigg Boss OTT 3: Sana Makbul Takes the Trophy, Naezy is the Runner-Up
Despite being labeled as one of the most ‘selfish’ contestants of Bigg Boss OTT 3, actress Sana Makbul, renowned for her role as Lavanya in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, emerged victorious, claiming the trophy as announced by host Anil Kapoor. The digital reality show concluded on the evening of August 2, Friday, amidst much excitement. Alongside Sana, rapper and fellow contestant Naezy was declared the runner-up.Kicking off a couple of months ago, Bigg Boss OTT 3 showcased a diverse cast, including influencers, television stars, and other well-known personalities from various fields.
Following the departures of the controversial Armaan Malik and YouTuber Lovekesh Kataria, the show finally revealed its top five finalists: Kritika Malik (Armaan’s second wife), Sana Makbul, rapper Naezy, Sai Ketan Rao, and Ranvir Shorey. In a surprising twist, the Maliks were evicted despite generating significant buzz outside the house due to their polygamous marriage. Renowned television celebrity Sai Ketan Rao also had to leave the competition shortly after Kritika.
After their exits, Bollywood actor Ranvir Shorey was the next to go, leaving the final decision between rapper Naezy (Naved Shaikh) and Sana Makbul. As the audience held their breath, with the clock nearing midnight, host Anil Kapoor announced Sana as the winner, thrilling the crowd. The grand finale turned into a star-studded event, featuring Stree 2 actors Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, who joined the finalists to offer encouragement and promote their upcoming film. Nearly all participants played a significant role in the finale, including Vadapav girl Chandrika Dixit, influencer Vishal Panday, the Maliks—Armaan Malik and his two wives Payal and Kritika, astrologer Munisha Khatwani, influencer Sana Sultan, social media star Shivani Kumari, and many others. The event was a fitting celebration for a season filled with drama and excitement.
