Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal, a Bollywood couple, will soon be legally wed. The two are reportedly moving to Lucknow for another round of celebrations, including Mehendi, Sangeet, and a party being held to mark their union, while the couple is preoccupied with wedding festivities in Delhi and Mumbai.
Social media has seen the appearance of pictures and videos of the ceremonies. Nature served as the inspiration for the decor for the event, which included several components including florals, jute, wood, etc. The couple enjoyed themselves while their friends and relatives gave them traditional “Phoolon Ki Holi” showers. Their cousins and friends gave performances throughout the evening. Richa’s childhood best friend performed a surprise performance for the pair, and her brother also sang her a song and danced the Bhangra. The duo then danced to two songs, including “Ambarsariya” from their 2013 album “Fukrey,” which is one of their most well-known tracks.

With friends and family, the pair is now commemorating the two and a half years since they officially became husband and wife. On Instagram, they had posted an audio message for their followers. In the audio note, Richa is heard saying: “Two years ago we formalised our union and just then the pandemic hit us all, pressing a pause button on our celebrations and life.”
Ali is then heard saying: “Like the rest of the nation, we too were struck by personal tragedies one after the other. And now, as we all enjoy this window of respite, we are finally celebrating with our families and friends and are so very touched and grateful for all the blessings that are coming our way. We offer you nothing but our love. Thank you.”
The wedding will take place in the afternoon at the iconic The Great Eastern Home, a 176-year-old mill turned into a luxe event space in Byculla.
