Along with his acting and dancing prowess, Varun Dhawan is also known for his quirky nature. The actor recently sparked a new controversy after a video of him carrying American supermodel Gigi Hadid onto the stage on Day 2 of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) opening on Saturday night went viral. Immediately after the video went viral on social media, many netizens claimed that supermodel Gigi Hadid was not feeling comfortable in this whole act and trolled Varun Dhawan for his act.

Varun Dhawan also responded to these trolls. Responding to one of the trolls, whose original tweet has been deleted, Dhawan wrote, “I guess today you woke up and decided to be woke. So lemme burst your bubble and tell you it was planned for her to be on stage, so find a new Twitter cause to vent about rather than going out and doing something about things. Good morning”.

The video, which has been making the rounds on social media for two days, did not go down well with many social media users, who claimed the supermodel appeared uncomfortable throughout the entire act. After Dhawan’s tweet, now Gigi Hadid also shared the video of the same act with Varun, on her Instagram story, finally putting an end to the whole controversy.
