Punnaga on Telugu channel is a new age thriller combining family drama and mythology creating a complete masala package for the audience.
Punnaga is a story about two rival families set in the traditional Telugu style. One family is devote of Garuda and the other is devotee of Nagas. They have been rivals of each other since time immemorial. The Garuda family is headed by Dhanunjay Varma and the Naga family is headed by Mahadevi. What happens when the children of the two families develop a friendship? How the orthodox animosity of the two families will deal with such a development?
Punnaga, the title, is the name of Mahadevi’s daughter who is developing a bond with Dhanunjay’s son Anirudh. The families come to know of this quite earlier than the couple reveals this. Will the animosity of the families change as a result of the bonding between the youngsters?
Punnaga is telecasted from 16 January 2017 on Zee Telugu. The serial is aired from Monday to Friday in the 8.30 p.m slot.
