India shines with glamour and glory at the 75th Cannes Film Festival, from Deepika to Tamannaah check out who wore what on day one

The 75th Cannes Film Festival kicked off on Tuesday with glamour and glory, as one of the year’s most anticipated events returned in high-wattage form after the Covid-19 regulations were lifted.

After a two-year hiatus caused by the coronavirus epidemic, a parade of Oscar winners returned to the Cannes red carpet without masks to attend the world’s premier movie gathering. The famous film festival, which will take place from May 17 to May 28, has designated India as the ‘country of honour’ during the Marche du Cinema. Six Indian films will be officially exhibited this year, with actress Deepika Padukone joining the Cannes film festival’s top jury.

This year the spotlight is on India On the first day, an Indian delegation led by I&B Minister Anurag Thakur walked the red carpet. R Madhavan, Ricky Kej, Vani Tripathi, Shekhar Kapur, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Prasoon Joshi represented India with Thakur.

This year, actors Urvashi Rautela, Pooja Hegde, and Tamannaah Bhatia are making their Cannes Film Festival debuts glimpses of their new photos from the French capital show that they are leaving no stone unturned in their efforts to make an impact. Urvashi rocked the red carpet in a stunning one-shoulder white gown. Tamannah looked stunning in a black and white outfit as she posed in the sun.
